Welcome to the Santa Cruz Youth Soccer League (SCCYSL).

Who are we?

The SCCYSL is a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) participating in Region IV (Western US), California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA-N) - District II. With over 5,600 players between 6 and 18 years of age, we are the largest of eighteen leagues within District II.

Our League is subdivided into five geographical clubs (each club consists of a variety of teams):

Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club
Mid-County Youth Soccer Club
Aptos Youth Soccer Club
Scotts Valley/San Lorenzo Valley Youth Soccer Club
Pajaro Valley Youth Soccer Club

In addition, The Santa Cruz County Breakers (Club 6), is our Division I Club whose players reside throughout the County.

What do we do?

Our League provides programming for kids of all skills. The five geographical clubs organize rewarding recreational and competitive levels of play. The Premier Futbol Club governs our League's select level of play.

With its growing popularity, soccer is now a victim of its own success. We continue to outgrow our infrastructure of fields, referees, and coaches. The League is addressing these challenges on several fronts.

Our League sponsors CYSA State Coaches' Clinics to continually educate and support our volunteer coaches. Check the Calendar for dates of all coaching classes. Exposing our young kids to skilled coaches can only improve player development and increase their love for the game.

Our League provides year-round Referee Clinics to train new youth and adult referees and upgrade our existing referees. Please support our referees! They play a critical role in youth soccer.

We are a volunteer organization which survives through the dedication of our players, coaches, and parents. We need your energy, ideas, and support to serve our young players and literally make the soccer season "happen". So please get involved with your local club and help make a difference in our community.
